What is this feeling I've got going on? By gollie it's excitement!
July 1 is just around the corner and let the challenge begin. This weekend we kicked off the challenge with decluttering. The things we had collecting dust in the basement were picked up yesterday by some folks that were looking for exactly what we were offering.
Everything happens for a reason. Yesterday it felt great to give our things to others who will be good stewards of them.
So what happened? Just as soon as we committed our things to their new owners a close family friend came over with a beautiful daybed and trundle, mattresses and all, for B's room. Toddler-bed, schmoddler-bed, we've got a twin bed as her "Big Girl Bed" and she loves it!
Just as we were passing on our possessions and decluttering our lives, so too was this close friend. It's a circle of giving to give and being blessed with unexpected receipts!
