Farmers Market Bounty

Yesterday we went to our town's very small Farmers Market. It was a very European feeling of going to the market to buy the food we will eat the same day.

We did score some good produce at reasonable prices!

For $20 we got:
2 huge portobello mushrooms
2 large roasting bulbs of garlic
6 ears of corn
1/2 pound of beautiful salad greens
1 pint blueberries
1 pint cherries
1/2 pint raspberries

It felt good to know we were supporting local growers while saving money and getting out in our neighborhood.

This "frugal" thing is turning into a paradigm shift to enjoy our lives and appreciate everything we come in contact with.

Now I must get back to appreciating the mounds of dirty laundry that needs washing and cookie orders that need to be finished.
