Used baby items = Uncool?

I've got a TON of baby toys, equipment, and clothes that I've been trying to sell at drop dead, garage sale type, prices and no one is biting!

When I was prego nearly 3 years ago everyone would hunt for the awesome deals on gently used baby items. I remember trolling Craigslist and my hubs driving around for garage sales just to snatch up some fab stuff for our uber spoiled neonate.

 I ask:
Is it no longer in vogue
to buy 2nd hand kid items?

  1. I LOVE finding awesome deals for my little one on CRaigslist. I just got her a nearly brand new looking exersaucer for only $35 bucks...regularly $150. That made me soooo happy! I also go her dresser and her glider on Craigslist. I don't know why you aren't getting bites. I think people are still interested in general.

  2. I love Craigslist too Casey! The funny thing is everything I'm selling was given to us as new or we bought new. All the Craigslist finds we are still keeping! Heck, we just bought a dishwasher from Craigslist on Tuesday for our kitchen remodel. I heart Craigslist!

  3. Kim! I haven't the faintest idea why you're not selling your duds very well. I buy only used stuff. No point in buying it brand new, if the kiddos are just gonna poo on it anyway. My advice, keep up the hard work! Don't give up.

  4. That's odd, maybe it's the economy? I think that people are not buying NEW and still can't afford the OLD right now.Who wouldn't want a great deal? I don't see too many people in stores anymore, at least where am from.
