Oatmeal is loved by both my daughter and I. Of course my favorite is Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal with a bit of milk. Um, not good, especially after you add that big ole pat of butter. So I concocted a recipe that tastes like the high calorie, high sugar, high fat oatmeal but isn't!
(And it's cheaper than those individual packets available in the stores)
Oatmeal
Water
Brown Sugar OR Brown Sugar Splenda
Skim Milk, if you like your oatmeal creamy
Microwave for 2 minutes
How awesome is this? I use the Splenda to keep our sugar intake low but you'd never guess! If you like other flavored oatmeal there are
many flavors of extracts available!
