Good 4 U Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal

Oatmeal is loved by both my daughter and I. Of course my favorite is Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal with a bit of milk. Um, not good, especially after you add that big ole pat of butter. So I concocted a recipe that tastes like the high calorie, high sugar, high fat oatmeal but isn't! (And it's cheaper than those individual packets available in the stores)


Oatmeal
Water
Maple Extract(about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon)
Butter Extract (about 1/4-1/4 teaspoon)
Brown Sugar OR Brown Sugar Splenda
Skim Milk, if you like your oatmeal creamy
Microwave for 2 minutes

How awesome is this? I use the Splenda to keep our sugar intake low but you'd never guess! If you like other flavored oatmeal there are many flavors of extracts available!
