Planting Seeds

There is an excitement brewing at house...the garden is soon to be planted!

In our attempt at being better stewards of our lives and land we plant our veggies and pray they produce.

This year we have added a composter and rain barrel to our objects of green-goodness along with a toddler.

She loves playing in the recently tilled dirt and especially enjoys pulling blooming flowers out of their beds. So, we started to direct her in a way that is safer for all blooming things-she helped daddy plant the marigold seeds that border the garden.

We will find out if she has an inherit green thumb in a month or so! We will also find out eventually if the seeds of good stewardship we are planting in our most thriving and ever-blooming creation actually sprouts. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
