Does this mean I'm stopping my quest to be the ultimate FruGal?
No. It's been 3 months since we started our "No Spend Challenge" and have learned quite a bit about our spending, our guilty pleasures, our wants, our needs, and our consumptions.
Why the Freeze?
I've hit a fork in the Frugal Road. Let me explain.
- Expenses have been cut drastically.
- I get a high when I see the Sunday paper in the driveway.
- I'm still in love with the clothesline and have only used the dryer maybe 5 times in 2 months.
- Figuring out frugal meals is still fun.
- Being in control of our lives is pretty awesome too.
The remainder of this week I am just going to stand here at the fork in the road. And determine which way to take in the remainder of our Frugal Adventures. I'll explain more when I get over this writer's block!
I'm hoping that someday soon I will be able to focus on being a stay at home mom and leave my job of 7 years..(Shhh). I am reminded how essential it is that I start working on being more frugal now while we still have both incomes then try and wait until we are cramped with one. Your posts are very inspiring for me!
